In the Philippines Day 6

Two very different looks for a formal dinner.

The usual rule to makeup is to only have on strong focal point to the makeup, either the eyes, or the lips. I think the cheeks can actually be considered a focal point too, but that’s for another post. So I did classic matte red lips for my roommate, and had smoky eyes for myself.

How I did Leejing’s makeup:
1) MAC Bare Study applied on the entire lid
2) Urban Decay Broken (matte beige) on the lid
3) MAC Warm Soul on the lid, on top of Broken (beautiful subtle warm golden peachy colour as Broken was a little too stark)
4) Maybelline liquid liner applied to only the top lashline, defining the eye
5) MAC Fascinating (white eye pencil) on the lower lashline
6) Maybelline Falsies mascara
7) Defined the brow with a black brow pencil
8) Bobbi Brown BB cream
9) Applied a rosy powder blush (can’t remember what it is, it’s my friends, not mine)
10) MAC Ruby Woo (matte blue red) applied to the lips directly, then blended out with a lip brush

How I got my makeup:

1) MAC Bare Study
2) MAC Mulch (satin chocolate brown) as a wash of colour on the lid with an eye, applied with a fluffy brush so the colour didn’t look too intense when applied on
3) MAC Smolder (black koh) used to line the entire eye
4) Applied mascara to the lashes
5) Darkened the brow with a black brow pencil
6) Applied Bobbi Brown BB cream
7) Applied Bobbi Brown Pot Rogue in Raspberry on the cheeks, blending with a stippling brush
8) Applied Bobbi Brown Pot Rogue in Raspberry on the lips
