Product Rave: Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color in Nude Rose

Nude Rose is the swatch in the middle.

I’m not wearing any makeup here except for Nude Rose on the lips.

Nude Rose is described as a ‘medium tone rose brown‘. ‘Lightweight, yet intense, Bobbi’s latest formula combines pigments with a clear base to deliver pure, crisp color with just one swipe. Plus, it’s creamy and moisturizing, so lips feel as good as they look.’ This costs USD 25, and is SGD38 if I remember correctly. It’s definitely less than SGD40 though, but rather pricier than a MAC lipstick. It does contain more product than a MAC lipstick.

This is a rosy pink with brown undertones. It’s a lovely neutral colour on the lips, perfect as an everyday lip colour. It applies smoothly to the lips, with excellent pigmentation. The colour is pretty opaque, even on my pigmented lips. I’d say it’s very lightly hydrating. Nude Rose lasts about five hours on my lips.

Cost: USD 25, SGD 38 (if I remember the SGD price correctly)
Does it work: This is a beautiful shade that can be worn everyday. The formula is excellent, with opaque coverage and is lightly moisturizing.
Would I recommend it: If you’re looking for a neutral lipstick that can be easily worn with a lot of looks, definitely check Nude Rose out.
